Kumano’s brush (Traditional brush for writing and cosmetics)

Kuamano-cho is located 30 minutes drive from central Hiroshima and its famous about Kumano’s Fude(=brush). Its market share is about 80% in Japan.

It is use for not only for painting but also use for Japanese writing which called “SHUJI”=Japanese traditional calligraphy.

I visit KOYUDO’s Japanse makeup brush experience.

KOYUDO is about 60 minutes from downtown Hiroshima by train and taxi.

The experience fee is 3,240 JPY (include tax, Feb.2020) for cosmetic brush with rose design.

You can enjoy small factory tour if available.

There’s some special design brushes.

The factory has official and outlet shop, you can get brushes with good price.
